‘Not going to unsettle’ – Pundit makes confident prediction about Harry Kane’s future

Gabby Agbonlahor has confidently asserted that Harry Kane will remain at Tottenham for the foreseeable future as the striker is keen to break Alan Shearer’s Premier League goals record.

Over the last couple of weeks, reports have suggested that Kane is on Bayern Munich’s radar (Kicker).

Over the weekend, Bayern boss Julian Naglesmann confirmed that the Bundesliga giants would love to sign the Tottenham striker but admitted he would prove too expensive for the club this summer (90 min).

Despite Naglesmann’s claim, Fabrizio Romano has told CaughtOffside that Spurs will not consider selling Kane under any circumstances this summer and the north London club plan on opening talks over a new deal with the striker within the next few months.

This has also been backed up by The Evening Standard, who have suggested that the 28-year-old believes he can fulfil his dream of winning a trophy at his boyhood club during the upcoming season.

Agbonlahor believes Kane will not have his head turned by Bayern’s interest this summer.

The former Aston Villa striker told talkSPORT: “Harry Kane is not leaving Spurs. Just got into the Champions League, he’s going to beat that record by Alan Shearer, Premier League goals.

“I don’t see him leaving the Premier League to go to the Bundesliga, as good as Bayern Munich are as a team. So, it’s not going to unsettle Harry Kane.”

It is clear that Kane is not for sale this summer. Bayern seem to be suggesting that they will make an offer for the striker next summer if he does not sign a new contract.

The 28-year-old will likely wait and see how Tottenham get on at the start of the 2022/23 campaign before making a decision on whether or not to commit his future to the club.
