“Not good” – Jose Mourinho gives his view on his players performances against Fulham

Jose Mourinho has claimed that the performance of his Tottenham Hotspur side was not good enough but still did enough to warrant what would have been a victory against Fulham.

Spurs looked lively in the first half and went ahead through Harry Kane’s diving header and which came just minutes after Son Heung-min hit the post in search of Spurs’ second.

The hosts were unable to make their chances count and further chances from Son, Hojbjerg and Winks came back to haunt them when Ivan Cavaleiro scored a late header to earn Premier League strugglers Fulham a hard-fought draw.

While Reguilon did find the back of the net in the final minute of the match, it was immediately disallowed for offside with the North Londoners missing the chance to move up to third in the table.

Mourinho instead claimed that Hugo Lloris was rarely troubled in goal but his side has to show an improved performance going forward.

Watch what Jose had to say below:-

He said, as transcribed from the above video: “Not good enough, but good enough to win. Not good enough because I think we have to play better in a more consistent way, but good enough to create four or five big chances, good enough to give Hugo in a very quiet evening.

“Good enough to win the game but not good enough because we have to play better than we did.”
