Fabrizio Romano has revealed that rumoured Tottenham target Dean Henderson has made up his mind to leave Manchester United.
Hugo Lloris’ contract at Tottenham runs out at the end of the season and The Daily Mail reported last month that Henderson is one of the players Spurs are tracking as they look to find a long-term successor for the Frenchman.
However, multiple sources over recent days (The Athletic and Football.London) have revealed that Antonio Conte wishes to keep Lloris at the club beyond next summer.
So, it remains to be seen whether Henderson is still on Tottenham’s radar ahead of the January transfer window.
The Manchester United goalkeeper has only started one match all season and it was reported last week that Ajax had held talks with United over a deal for the 24-year-old.
However, Romano has revealed that Henderson has not spoken to the Eredivisie giants.
The journalist stated that the England international’s priority is to leave Old Trafford in order to get more game time and that a January exit is on the cards for the goalkeeper.

Henderson could be a very good option for Tottenham when Lloris eventually leaves. However, the 25-year-old would not want to come to Spurs in January or next summer, with Hugo now seemingly close to signing a new deal. The Man Utd man would likely want to be the guaranteed number one at his next club.
