Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the team selection for this evening’s match against Southampton.
The match has some meaning once again for supporters after the club decided to go back on their decision to join the European Super League in what has been one of the most eventful few days in recent history for all associated with the North London outfit.
Attention turns to Ryan Mason this evening, the former midfielder who has been appointed as head coach until the end of the season has picked his first line-up since taking up the interim role.
Mourinho lost nine of his 41 home games in charge of Tottenham Hotspur in all competitions, with the side having typically been hard to beat on home turf under Mauricio Pochettino.
As expected, Harry Kane misses out through injury while Gareth Bale comes back into the starting eleven.
This is what some of the North London faithful have had to say about the line up:
The Mason era has begun. Spurs are back. We’re excited to watch spurs again! #COYS

For the most part he is going with experience – makes sense !
Not sure about that Midfield – they are a big part of the problem, but not many options

Yes me dier is not a center half and will never be a center half, I’m assuming rodon is injured.
