Nuno answers questions on Traore and futures of Ndombele and Sissoko

Nuno Espirito Santo was asked about plenty of transfer rumours in his press conference today, including those surrounding Adama Traore, Tanguy Ndombele, and Moussa Sissoko.

Traore has been linked with a potential move to Spurs in recent days, although Tottenham’s opening offer of £5m for a loan with option to buy was reportedly turned down by Wolves.

As usual, Nuno kept his cards close to his chest and respectively refused to comment on the rumours surrounding another club’s player, especially his former team.

He said (Football London): “You know me already, I don’t speak about any situation or rumour. Mainly because I only speak about Spurs players.”

Nuno was also asked whether Ndombele has asked to leave Spurs and if he was available for the next couple of games.

Once again, the Spurs head coach refused to answer the first question and merely pointed out that the Frenchman wasn’t on the UEFA list to play on Thursday.

He said (Football London): “I am not going to answer that. For this game because he is not on the UEFA list so he is not available for tomorrow.”

Finally, when asked whether Moussa Sissoko was going to leave this summer, the Spurs boss revealed the midfielder was back working with the squad and is now an option.

He said (Football London): “Moussa is with us, he is working. All the rumours and all the situations, we cannot control but he wasn’t an option for the previous game. He is working with us. All the players that are on the pitch are options.”

Spurs Web Opinion:

My gut feeling is that I expect Sissoko to leave in the final days of the window, Ndombele to stay and play a bit-part role this season, and I actually think Adama Traore could be signed in the next week.
