Nuno Espirito Santo has revealed that Tanguy Ndombele is in contention to feature for Tottenham tomorrow against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Ndombele did not appear for Tottenham at all in pre-season and has also not been included in any of the five matchday squads under Nuno so far.
The Frenchman reportedly told his new head coach that he wanted a transfer away from North London, but such a move failed to materialise for Ndombele.
As such, the former Lyon man has reportedly held sit-down talks with Nuno and Fabio Paratici and is now willing to work hard and fight for a place in the Spurs side.
Nuno was keen to point out that everyone was going to be assessed ahead of the Saturday kick-off and that he wants to ‘make the best’ out of Ndombele this season.
It remains to be seen whether Ndombele makes an appearance on the bench or from the start against Palace tomorrow.
Ndombele – in contention to feature for tomorrow but everyone is being assessed. "Tanguy is here and our player, let's try to make the best of him."
On whether Ndombele can be a key player: "All of the players are so important. We want to bring the best of them."

Spurs Web Opinion:
I expect Tanguy to be on the bench tomorrow and then he will start in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night. It’s all about building his fitness up. If he knuckles down, this midfield three could be perfect for him.
