Nuno provides isolation update on Tottenham’s four South American stars

Nuno Espirito Santo has now provided an update on the situation surrounding Tottenham’s four South American players ahead of the upcoming international break.

Emerson Royal has been called up to Brazil, Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso to Argentina, and Davinson Sanchez to Colombia.

Nuno has revealed that all four will go away on international duty and return under different circumstances than the September international break.

This time, the Spurs head coach claimed that while all four would have to isolate upon their return to the UK, they would be able to work normally with the team thanks to the Hotspur Way Lodge.

TyC Sports reported last week that this time, the South American players would be able to fly straight to the UK and quarantine for just five days. The report also added that they will be able to train on their own during this time to keep fit.

Nuno said (Football London): “I can update, they will go and they will return and they will return on different situations.

“They will have to isolate, but we are fortunate enough to have the Lodge and work normally with the team.”

Spurs Web Opinion:

There are two pieces of good news here. One, it seems as though the Spurs stars won’t miss much, or any, football. Secondly, it won’t just be Tottenham losing players this time like it was last month, so it’s more of a fair and level playing field.
