Nuno reveals if decision has been made on Harry Kane for Wolves squad

Nuno Espirito Santo has revealed that a decision has not yet been made on whether Harry Kane will be included in the squad to face Wolves this weekend.

The striker did not make the trip to Portugal for the Conference League game against Pacos de Ferreira last night and was also not included in the squad to face Man City.

However, Nuno maintained today that Kane continues to train well with the first-team squad and a decision will be made after he trains again tomorrow.

The Spurs head coach said pretty much exactly the same thing last night in the post-match press conference after the 1-0 defeat to Pacos de Ferreira.

This comes as rumours in the press claim Man City are prepared to pay up to £150m for Kane this summer, although others report Pep Guardiola’s side need to sell players before they can pay for the Spurs striker.

When asked about Kane ahead of the Wolves game, Nuno said (Charlie Eccleshare): “He trained today, trained good.

“He’ll train tomorrow and we’ll make a decision. I’m so sorry to keep saying the same thing but this is how we work.

“Every day (I’m kept up to date with the Kane situation).”

Spurs Web Opinion:

If Kane isn’t on the bench against Wolves, I think we can assume that a sale is, at the very least, possible in the final weeks of the transfer window. There is no longer any reason why he wouldn’t be fit enough to play a few minutes.
