Nuno speaks on possible Spurs transfer business before window closes

Tottenham Hotspur head coach, Nuno Espirito Santo has claimed it is not easy for the club to find the right players in the current transfer market.

There are now just four days left until the window closes for the summer and Tottenham fans will be hoping to see some late incomings and outgoings.

Spurs have already signed Pierluigi Gollini and Cristian Romero from Atalanta, as well as Bryan Gil from Sevilla.

The likes of Juan Foyth, Danny Rose, Paulo Gazzaniga, Toby Alderweireld, Joe Hart and Erik Lamela have also parted, while Gareth Bale and Carlos Vinicius’ loan spells ended.

There are rumours that Moussa Sissoko could soon be out the Hotspur Way doors too, as he is being linked with a potential transfer to Watford.

Nuno did say that Tottenham would speak, analyse, and make decisions in the coming days, although he wanted to keep any details private.

He said (Football London): “What we need and what we believe we will keep it between ourselves. We speak, we see, we analyse and then we have to decide. It’s not easy to find the right players.”

Spurs Web Opinion:

If Tottenham can get Sissoko, Aurier, and maybe Sanchez out the door before the window shuts, while signing another couple of players, that would be an incredible window. Having said that, Spurs have done some good work already.
