Tottenham have confirmed that Jamie O’Hara is set to have a back operation this week.
The midfielder suffered a stress fracture in his back at the end of last season and has spent his summer in the care of a specialist.
Two further specialists have been consulted since and the route of surgery has been the one opted to travel.
O’Hara is expected to be out for a few months, although Spurs have not set a timescale for his return.
