Old article hints that Levy may be on holiday with three days to go in the transfer window

Tottenham Hotspur now have just three days to add to their squad if they wish to do so this summer before the transfer window slams shut until January.

While Spurs did go out and smash their transfer record to bring in Tanguy Ndombele earlier in the window, they have been dormant ever since.

Many expected Tottenham to invest heavily this summer after the club made it all the way to the Champions League final, but Ndombele and Jack Clarke remain the only incomings (BBC).

Pochettino’s latest remarks about Daniel Levy also leave a lot to be desired, as he seemed to imply that the chairman is on holiday.

Football London reporter, Alasdair Gold, claims that Poch said in his press conference that he hadn’t spoken to Levy for days because he was in Miami.

After a little digging, we found an old Standard article that reports Daniel Levy has a holiday home in Miami, Florida.

Does this mean that Spurs are now done in the transfer window for another year? Is he out there talking to a club or a player? Or is it all a smokescreen?

With any luck, we will know the answers within the next 72 hours.
