Ole Gunnar Solskjaer praised one Spurs player after last night – and it wasn’t Dele

Tottenham Hotspur have now endured their first defeat under Jose Mourinho, but it is far from their first loss of the 2019/20 season.

Plenty of the old problems that existed under Mauricio Pochettino cropped up once again for Spurs in Manchester last night as they took on the Red Devils.

What didn’t help was the fact that United came out the blocks far faster and scored within seven minutes of the match starting through Marcus Rashford.

Rashford caught Paulo Gazzaniga at the near post, with the Argentine somehow missing the ball and allowing it to slip through into the back of the net.

While this mistake proved costly and unforgivable, Gazzaniga went on to have a pretty solid match, making some nice saves along the way.

Man United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, even picked Gazzaniga out of the Spurs team and claimed that he played well on the night (Football London). He stated: “He played well by the way.”

Unfortunately, Spurs still conceded two and lost the game.
