Tottenham’s latest summer signing, Omar Marmoush, has revealed what convinced him to make the switch from Manchester to north London.
Roberto De Zerbi’s Tottenham Hotspur side is beginning to take shape as the Italian continues to reshape his squad this summer transfer window.
Eight players have been signed by Tottenham, whose transfer spend is up to £382m following the latest addition of Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush.

The Egyptian international has joined on loan, although Spurs have an obligation to buy for £50m + £10m in add-ons next summer.
Omar Marmoush opens up on Tottenham move
Following his switch from Manchester City, the 27-year-old versatile forward has now spoken to the Tottenham media team.
Marmoush opened up on his excitement to sign for Tottenham and how his decision was influenced by head coach De Zerbi.
He said: “It feels amazing to be here. I’m so excited to get started with the team and I can’t wait to meet the fans.
“Tottenham Hotspur is one of the biggest clubs in England, if not the world, and the project was very attractive to me.
“I’ve spoken with the Head Coach, I loved what he had to say and I’m sure our passion for the game will go very well together.”
Spurs hoping Marmoush can provide a boost
Tottenham are not in a crisis at the moment, but there is a need for the Lilywhites to bounce back after a poor start to the Premier League.
Last weekend, Spurs fell short in their clash against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium, where they lost 3-0.
The Lilywhites were toothless in attack, and with Marmoush through the door, De Zerbi will be hoping that is enough firepower for his side as they go into the campaign.
Marmoush has signed in time to be involved in this weekend’s clash against Newcastle United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
