Omar Marmoush has become Tottenham Hotspur’s eighth signing of the summer transfer window, and his shirt number has now been confirmed.
Tottenham were extremely active in the early weeks of the transfer window, bringing six new players through the door and thereby transforming their backline and midfield.
However, they went more than a month and a half without any new signing, leaving fans worried about the fact that their frontline had not been strengthened.
The Lilywhites have now made two big moves to add firepower to their attack in a matter of days, raiding Manchester City for Savio and Omar Marmoush.

Omar Marmoush Tottenham shirt number revealed
Savio showcased his quality for Spurs in his debut for the club in the Carabao Cup clash on Tuesday, picking up a goal and an assist after coming on in the 71st minute as the Lilywhites demolished Charlton 5-1.
Tottenham fans will hope for a similarly impactful debut from Marmoush if he does play against Newcastle on Saturday.
While it remains to be seen if the Egypt international will be involved against the Magpies, it has now been confirmed that he will wear the number 22 shirt for the Lilywhites.
Number 22 was most recently worn by Brennan Johnson at Tottenham, while the number has also been worn by the likes of Nacer Chadli, Robbie Keane, and Vedran Corluka in the Premier League era.
Can competition with Marmoush bring the best out of Dominic Solanke?
This is a big season for Dominic Solanke, who has failed to live up to his big price tag since his move from Bournemouth two years ago.
The striker is rated highly by De Zerbi, who has described Solanke as one of the best strikers in the Premier League on multiple occasions.
The biggest challenge for the England international would be staying fit through the season, and he will know that he will have to be at his best to get regular game time, now that the club have invested big money in Marmoush.
