On-loan Tottenham man was in attendance for West Ham clash yesterday

Football.London have revealed that Destiny Udogie was in attendance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday for Spurs’ London derby against West Ham.

Udogie has excelled since returning to Udinese on loan in the summer after Tottenham snapped him up in a deal which could rise to £20m last summer.

The 20-year-old played 90 minutes for Andrea Sottil’s side on Saturday as they succumbed to a 3-1 loss to Inter Milan at the San Siro, and the youngster flew over to London the subsequent day to watch his parent club in action.

Udogie would have been impressed with what he saw from Spurs, who delivered a commanding performance to win 2-0, courtesy of goals from Emerson Royal and substitute Son Heung-min in the second half.

Football.London state that the left-back also got to meet his Tottenham teammates for the first time at the game, having not had the opportunity to do so when he signed for the club last summer.

According to Football Italia, Udogie posted the following video on his Instagram yesterday:

Udogie would have been particularly impressed by the showing of our two wing-backs, Davies and Emerson, who combined brilliantly for the first goal.

Davies showed his tactical intelligence by making some smart runs throughout the game, and the coaching staff would have been delighted with the Welshman’s display.
