Antonio Conte has claimed on Instagram that Tottenham are heading in the right direction ahead of a key week of Premier League action.
Spurs are due to face Brighton on Wednesday and will be looking for a response after a damaging 3-2 defeat against Manchester United last time out.
The result pushed the side down to eighth in the table while the gap to Arsenal in fourth-place widened to six points, with the Gunners having played a game less.
It also continued Tottenham’s strange and volatile run of form since the New Year, which has seen the team fail to string together much momentum.
And ahead of this week’s encounter at Brighton, Conte took to social media to issue a defiant message that, despite things currently not being easy, Spurs are on the right track for improvement.
Spurs have yet to face Seagulls in the league this season, with the match-up being a rescheduled fixture that was originally postponed due to Covid in December. Both sides met in the FA Cup fourth round last month, with Spurs winning the tie 3-1.

Conte likes to express his need for patience and it looks like he understands the frustration around the club given how much progress has stopped in recent seasons.
The results have been very up and down of late and with Brighton in midweek and West Ham a few days later, it is the chance to claw some points back and put the side in contention for a strong end to the season.
