‘One of the best teams I like to watch the most’ – Poch looks ahead to Wolves

After back to back thrashings in the Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur welcome Wolves to Wembley on Saturday.

Spurs have won their last six games at the national stadium, and will be looking to close the gap on Liverpool in the League, the only team left above them.

Tottenham overtook City on Boxing Day after the holders fell to a 2-1 defeat at Leicester, with Spurs thrashing Bournemouth 5-0.

Wolves currently sit ninth in the Premier League, an outstanding return for a newly promoted team.

They show all the hallmarks of a fantastic side that could be challenging for a place in Europe in the coming seasons.

When the sides last met, Spurs romped to a 3-0 lead before gifting two simple goals to create a nervy finish.

Pochettino will be hoping for something more comfortable at Wembley, but with Wolves, it is never going to be easy.

The Spurs manager raved about the side in his latest press conference.

Poch said (Football London): “Wolves are a very good team, one of the best teams I like to watch the most. They have a very good squad, good player, great managers and I think they are doing a great job there.

“It is going to be tough, it was tough the game we played a few months ago. Sure, it is going to be tough on Saturday.

“I know Nuno very well, he spent one day here, the whole day talking with us. I have a very good memory and he is doing a fantastic job.”
