Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish has waxed lyrical about Harry Kane and has admitted that watching the striker in training inspires him to keep working hard at his game.
The 27-year-old has been leading by example on the pitch for club and country for a number of years.
Grealish, who broke into the England senior set up only recently, has revealed that the Spurs man is the best trainer in the squad.
The Aston Villa man earned rave reviews for his performance against Wales on Thursday but found himself being benched in favour of Mason Mount for the clash against Belgium on Sunday.
The 25-year-old will be hoping to establish himself as a regular in England set up ahead of the Euros next summer and he certainly stands a good chance of doing so if he continues in the rich vein in which he has started the campaign.
The Villa skipper admitted that watching the way the England captain trains and the way he conducts himself, pushes him to improve his standards.
Grealish told The Guardian: “The aim is to do it every weekend like some of the players in this squad – Harry Kane, Raheem, Marcus. It is the standard these guys set.

“You only have to look at Harry Kane. He is first on the training pitch, he is first in the meetings. He is last off the training pitch, he is practising his finishing, free-kicks – every single day.
“No wonder he is one of the best strikers in the world. It makes you want to go back to Villa and set those standards.”
