Son has one goal in mind
The man himself has been thinking about that very question, and admits he still has something he needs to do before he can ever be called a legend at the club.
Speaking to Men In Blazers, Son touched on his legacy, saying: “There is only one thing in my mind, so it is easy to answer. I want to win. I want to win a trophy.
“A trophy to bring success to the team, especially when you are captain and win a trophy, it means something very, very special to me and also to my family, the club, and the squad.
“I will do anything for this. I am not calling myself a legend at this club right now. I want to win something.”
Room for improvement
Son may be regarded as one of the best players in the Premier League, if not the world, but he thinks he still needs to work on his game.
He added: “I need to work on every aspect of my game. As a footballer, there are only a few cases of a perfect player – Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo. I can improve every aspect. Every manager has a different system. I just want to adapt to him.
“When you think about an Ange Postecoglou perfect player – I want it to be Sonny. He gave a lot of speeches that influenced me so much. It is just so good to learn from different managers.
“I have had some amazing managers. Football seems easy, but football has to be perfect – every aspect, on the pitch and off. I want to improve every aspect.”

I get what he’s saying, but Sonny is and will always be a Tottenham legend, let’s be honest.
Still, it would be a dream to see him lift a trophy for Spurs, and hopefully that can happen very soon. This season would be ideal!
