Only one Tottenham Hotspur man has made it into WhoScored’s Team of the Month for November, and it is not who Spurs fans might think.

Tottenham have had a topsy-turvy November
It has almost become a bit of a cliche to say that it is difficult to tell which Tottenham is going to turn up from week to week under Ange Postecoglou.
However, the results certainly bear out that truism, with the Lilywhites having put four past Manchester City and Aston Villa in November, but yet being beaten by Ipswich at home and being held to draw by Fulham.
Part of the reason for that is that, individually, several Spurs players have blown hot and cold, with Dejan Kulusevski perhaps being the only exception, but the Swede is not Tottenham’s representative in the Team of the Month.

Tottenham star Dominic Solanke makes Team of the Month
Whoscored who deduce their Team of the Month by averaging the individual match rating of each player, have now provided their eleven for November.
Spurs’ sole representative in the side is Dominic Solanke, which might come as a surprise to many, considering that the striker only scored two goals and provided one assist last month.
Solanke offers more to Tottenham team than his goals
Some will argue that a striker’s main job is to put the ball in the back of the net and that Solanke has not done enough of that this season.
However, the 27-year-old’s tireless pressing creates many goals for Spurs as it means that we win back the ball in the final third more often than most teams in the Premier League.
The Englishman’s absence was felt by Tottenham against Fulham, with the Cottagers playing through our press with relative ease on a few occasions.
