Some Spurs fans on social media have rallied behind Harry Kane after the striker took to social media to express his disappointment of his side’s failure to pick up the three points against Manchester United.
Tottenham decided to adopt a low-block and were happy to let Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have the ball, as they looked to counter attack swiftly when they won the ball back in midfield.
That approach paid dividends midway into the first half when Steven Bergwijn raced through on goal after Spurs won the ball in the United half and powered his shot past David De Gea.
The away side took control of proceedings after they made their substitutions in the second half but Spurs continued to pose a threat on the counter.
The Red Devils’ pressure eventually told as they won a penalty in the second half when substitute Paul Pogba was adjudged to have been brought down by Eric Dier inside the box, with Bruno Fernandes stepping up to level the score from the spot.
Kane was fairly ineffective during the game and seemed to run out of gas in the final 30 minutes, just like many other Tottenham players.
Here’s how fans responded to the striker’s message following the draw:
Played H. Can't wait til you open the scoring on Tues.

Spurs Web Opinion
Kane is someone who usually needs a few games to find his rhythm and get into his stride. He usually starts seasons pretty slowly before coming into his own once he has a few matches under his belt.
Given the fact that he has not been involved in a competitive match in 2020, it was only natural that he would be rusty. I expect the striker to rediscover his form in a couple of more games.
