It’s not often someone from Spurs would be singing the praises of anyone from Chelsea let alone John Terry
However our Aston Villa loanee Josh Onomah has revealed that Chelsea legend John Terry is helping him become a man and hopefully a Premier League player.
Onomah was sent out to Aston Villa on loan at the start of the season to gain some first-team experience.
The youngster was apprehensive at prospect of leaving home in London.
However Onomah, speaking to the SunSport , has spoken of how Stamford Bridge icon Terry, who signed from the Blues in the summer, has helped him to find his feet.
Onomah said: “JT in particular has helped me settle in well. He’s from London like me and he’s a really good role model.
“To have him around the dressing room always talking to me gives me massive confidence.
“He’s an experienced head and knows exactly what he’s doing, so I always listen to the advice he gives me because he is definitely someone I can learn from.”
Onomah continued: “It’s crazy to watch these huge players and role models on TV as a kid and then have them alongside you in the dressing room.
“It’s great to see what they are really like. JT is a very humble guy and I just feel privileged to be able to learn from him.”
Interesting words from Onomah, Terry’s reputation precedes him however he has won all there is to win club wise and when it comes to football Onomah can only learn from him.
