Tottenham Hotspur face Aston Villa in the Premier League this weekend as they look to put that horrific defeat to Dinamo Zagreb firmly behind them.
As this Villa match represents Tottenham’s game-in-hand on a number of their key Premier League rivals, a win could thrust them back into the fight for top four.
However, similarly, a loss could all but end Jose Mourinho’s hopes of leading Spurs back into the Champions League next season.
Spurs come into the weekend eighth in the Premier League and just six points behind Chelsea in fourth. Therefore, a win would take the Lilywhites within three.
Aston Villa are currently in ninth, four points below Spurs and with just one win in their past five matches. Tottenham have won three in their past five Premier League encounters.
We caught up with our friend and Spurs legend, Pascal Chimbonda, to see whether he thinks Tottenham can bounce back against Villa this weekend.
