Tottenham Hotspur face a tough Carabao Cup fourth-round tie against London rivals Chelsea this evening, just 48 hours before a crucial Europa League qualifier.
Spurs were held to a point at home to Newcastle at the weekend courtesy of a controversial VAR handball decision, while Chelsea rescued a point from 3-0 down against West Brom.
Tottenham have yet to kick a ball in the League Cup this season despite qualifying from round three as they received a bye from the EFL.
This came after Leyton Orient were unable to play the third-round fixture due to positive COVID-19 results throughout the first-team.
Jose Mourinho has already revealed that he feels unable to compete in the Carabao Cup this year due to the congested fixture list.
Spurs face Chelsea tonight, Maccabi Haifa in the Europa League on Thursday, then Man United away in the Premier League on Sunday.
