Opinion: Chimbonda vs Spurs Web score prediction series – Southampton away

Tottenham Hotspur take on Southampton at St Mary’s this morning as they look to kickstart their new Premier League campaign.

The Lilywhites got off to a rather unimpressive start at home to Everton on the opening weekend, losing out to a second-half header from Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

However, since then, Spurs have recorded their first win of the season in a rather nervy 2-1 visit to Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the Europa League.

Of course, Spurs have welcomed in two new signings since the defeat to Everton in Sergio Reguilon and Gareth Bale, although neither will feature this weekend.

At the very least, Jose Mourinho has been given another few days to work with his players and get the likes of Harry Kane and Matt Doherty some minutes in the legs.

The Rules –

The rules are simple – We will be predicting Tottenham scores against Pascal for the entire 2020/21 season. Three points will be awarded for a perfect prediction, while a correct score will get one point.

The Predictions –

Pascal – 1-1 draw – ‘Southampton are really not easy to beat at home and they finished last season strong.’

Spurs Web – 2-1 to Tottenham – ‘Hopefully the arrival of two new players will boost morale and give a few Spurs players the kick they need.’

The Table –

Pascal – 1 point after two games (one correct result, zero correct scores)

Spurs Web – 1 point after two games (one correct result, zero correct scores)
