Opinion: Crafting the perfect Spurs footballer from nine key player attributes

Tottenham Hotspur have a number of talented individuals on their books, but what would the perfect Spurs player look like if we combined their skills?

We wanted to take a look at the best players for the following categories: shooting, passing, pace, stamina, heading, tackling, crossing, dribbling, and skills to create the perfect player.

Shooting – Is this even a question? It has to be Harry Kane!

Passing – New on the block but I think Giovani Lo Celso has to take this one for his incredible creativity.

Pace – Spurs have many quick players but I think that Heung-min Son is the best example of raw pace both with and without the ball.

Stamina – Moussa Sissoko takes this one, hands down. An absolute machine.

Heading – This is a tough one but I think that Eric Dier is the most consistently dominant in the air for Spurs.

Tackling – He may have lost half a yard but Toby Alderweireld still reads a tackle better than most.

Crossing – I’m going to go unconventional here and argue that Jan Vertonghen actually whips in a very nice cross when playing at left-back.

Dribbling – With the ball at his feet in tight areas, there is no one better than Lucas Moura.

Skills – I’m going to have to give this one to Dele, even if he does them far too often.
