Opinion: My immediate regret about the new Spurs documentary deal with Amazon

Tottenham Hotspur announced yesterday that they had agreed a deal with Amazon for a brand new docuseries by the name of All or Nothing.

The documentary, much like the recent one on Man City, would look at Tottenham’s journey throughout the 2019/20 season.

While this sounds like exciting news and I can’t wait to see the behind-the-scenes footage, I can’t help but have one large regret.

Why couldn’t they have done this last season?

Imagine having a documentary that forever immortalised the incredible journey Spurs went on last season. The lack of summer signings. The months of playing at Wembley. The injuries. The low points. The opening of the new stadium. And that amazing Champions League run.

Spurs fans would have had something they could look back on with fondness and watch over and over again.

I worry about what we are going to be left with this year. What’s for certain is that the first two months of the series will not be a fun watch for the Spurs supporters.

Let’s hope it has a happy ending.
