Tottenham Hotspur are back in action in the Premier League this weekend as they look to get off to a winning start in the 2020/21 season.

Spurs finished in sixth last time out, a finish that was only just enough to scrape Europa League qualifying this season.

The Lilywhites face a hectic schedule in the early weeks of the season, with a potential nine games in just 21 days across the Premier League, Europa League, and Carabao Cup.

However, as Tottenham gear up to face the Toffees on Sunday, they can take confidence from the fact that Everton have not beaten them in eight years (TalkSPORT).

In our brand-new head-tp-head prediction series, we caught up with Tottenham legend, Pascal Chimbonda to get his thoughts ahead of the opening match of the season.

The Rules –

The rules are simple – We will be predicting Tottenham scores against Pascal for the entire 2020/21 season. Three points will be awarded for a perfect prediction, while a correct score will get one point.

The Predictions – 

Chimbonda – 2-1 to Tottenham – ‘We always have a good result against Everton and we are good at home so I say 2-1 for Spurs.’

Spurs Web – 2-0 – ‘We are backing Mourinho to get the defence working well from game one, while we can see Everton’s new signings taking some time to adjust.’
