Opinion: Player ratings from Tottenham’s 3-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb

Words cannot describe how poor the was as Spurs went crashing out of the Europa League, blowing a 2-0 lead against Dinamo Zagreb, so why not let numbers do the talking?

Hugo Lloris – 1 – Wasn’t a whole lot he could do but a captain must go down with the ship.

Serge Aurier – 1 – All the danger came down Aurier’s side. In general, he looked very sloppy and lethargic. No desire.

Davinson Sanchez – 1 – Saved Spurs in the first half with a last-ditch flick to take it away from the Zagreb attacker, but struggled hugely after that.

Eric Dier – 1 – Didn’t look dominant enough in the air or in the challenge for me. He is meant to be an experienced head out there but didn’t do enough to lead.

Ben Davies – 1 – Pretty shocking on the ball and sloppy to say the least at the back.

Harry Winks – 1 – He was brought in to keep things ticking over in the centre of the pitch but looked nervy from the start. All consistency has vanished from his game.

Moussa Sissoko – 1 – All over the place this evening. There was no solidity, no consistency to his passing, no driving runs. Shocking display from Sissoko.

Dele Alli – 1 – He had a couple of nice passes in behind to Kane and Lamela but Dele looked sloppy out there. His first touch and short-range passing was not good enough.

Erik Lamela – 1 – It looked as though Lamela was more likely to get sent off again than score or assist. Chasing shadows this evening.

Lucas Moura – 1 – At least Moura was putting in the effort, closing people down and trying to take people on. Alas, the final moment was missing.

Harry Kane – 1 – A pretty isolated figure up the top. Looked to be playing in third gear as if he could walk the game.

Substitutes:

Gareth Bale – 1 – Came on and injected a little bit of quality, albeit not enough.

Giovani Lo Celso – 1 – Looked half a yard short after returning with some odd nice moments.

Tanguy Ndombele – 1 – Didn’t do enough for me after coming on.

Carlos Vinicius – 1 – Barely touched the ball.

Sergio Reguilon – 1 – Still without a goal this season.
