Opinion: Predicted Tottenham XI to face Sheffield United

Tottenham Hotspur take on Sheffield United this weekend in the Premier League, with the newly-promoted side one of the surprise packages so far this season.

While the Blades are currently knocking on the door of the European spots, Spurs are way down in the bottom half of the table, making this a tough one to call.

I believe that Pochettino will make changes after that trip to Belgrade just a few days earlier, as he is unlikely to risk some of the new recruits such as Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celco.

Gazzaniga will likely retain his spot in goal, with the Argentine being in fine form of late. Toby Alderweireld comes back into the centre of defence to partner Davinson Sanchez.

Serge Aurier and Ben Davies swap in for Danny Rose and Juan Foyth to keep things fresh at full-back.

Harry Winks comes back into the side to partner Moussa Sissoko after being rested, with Ndombele dropping to the bench after playing two games in a week.

Dele Alli was subbed off after an hour against Red Star, hinting that he will start tomorrow. Christian Eriksen also comes back into the side, with Heung Min Son and Harry Kane remaining up top.
