Opinion: Predicted Tottenham XI to start against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League

Tottenham Hotspur take on Red Star Belgrade tomorrow night in the Champions League as they look to record their first win since they last played the Serbian side.

Spurs come into the match off the back of a draw, a loss, and a win in the Champions League group stages this season.

A win would put the Lilywhites in a commanding position in terms of qualifying for the knockout stages again this season.

I believe that Paulo Gazzaniga will retain his spot between the posts for Tottenham, with Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez also remaining as the central two defenders.

However, Danny Rose comes back into the side to replace Ben Davies and Juan Foyth makes his first start of the season at right-back.

Tanguy Ndombele and Moussa Sissoko make up the central midfield duo with Giovani Lo Celso making his debut as the creative linchpin.

Dele Alli is rested on the bench while Christian Eriksen also drops among the subs. Lucas Moura starts his second game in a row, this time on the wing.

Harry Kane and Heung Min Son both start after tough weeks for them, but I can’t see why the club would have taken them if they did not plan on using them.
