Opinion: Score prediction for Everton vs Tottenham Hotspur

Whether or not some Spurs fans will want to hear it, the club is back in action again this weekend as they travel all the way back up to Merseyside for the second week in a row.

Last Sunday’s away day didn’t go too well for the Lilywhites, despite Harry Kane nodding home the first goal inside one minute against Liverpool.

The Reds then pinned Spurs inside their own half and huffed and puffed until they eventually overturned the scoreline to take home all three points.

This left Mauricio Pochettino’s side without a win in three Premier League games and down into the bottom half of the table.

However, despite the fact that Spurs come up against Everton on Sunday, they will still be looking down the table on their opponents, with the Toffees sitting in 16th.

Poch and his lads are in desperate need of a win and a clean sheet and I am backing them to get both. I predict a 2-0 away win to kickstart Tottenham’s season, with goals coming from Harry Kane and Lucas Moura.
