Opinion: Score prediction for Southampton vs Tottenham in the FA Cup fourth round

Tottenham Hotspur take on Southampton this weekend in the FA Cup fourth round as they look to finally end their trophy drought this year.

Spurs have not lifted a piece of silverware since the Carling Cup back in 2008 against Chelsea in the final, but they now have serial winner Jose Mourinho on board.

The Special One has won trophies pretty much everywhere he has gone in his managerial career, including Porto, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Man United, and Real Madrid.

Tottenham took two legs to overcome Championship side Middlesbrough in the last round, eventually beating them 2-1 at the new stadium.

However, Spurs’ last visit to St Mary’s on New Years Day ended in defeat at the hands of Southampton in a 1-0 result.

I believe that Tottenham will get the job done this time around, beating the Premier League opposition 2-1 on the day, with the goals coming from Heung Min Son and Lucas Moura.
