Tottenham Hotspur take on Southampton on New Years Day as they look to get their 2020 off to the best possible start.
Spurs have had a mixed festive period so far, including a loss against Chelsea, a win against Brighton, and a draw against Norwich City.
Tottenham were arguably disappointing in all three matches, as they failed to score at home against the Blues, only scraped a win at home to Brighton, and had to come from behind twice against bottom of the league Norwich.
Spurs squandered the chance to break into the top four with a win over Chelsea, and again when the chance came against Norwich.
However, with a match coming up against unbeaten Liverpool, keeping pace with the likes of Chelsea and Man United with a win over Southampton has never been more important.
I am predicting a 3-1 win for Tottenham, with goals coming from Harry Kane, Moussa Sissoko, and Dele Alli.
