Opinion: Score prediction for Tottenham vs Southampton in the FA Cup replay

Tottenham Hotspur could not get the job done against Southampton in the first leg of their FA Cup fourth-round match last month.

Spurs led and controlled the match at St Mary’s, but fell foul to a late equaliser after some sloppy defending from the likes of Serge Aurier.

Just like the third round, Spurs are forced to play a replay at home, where they will be looking to replicate their win over Middlesbrough.

Tottenham lost 1-0 to Southampton last time the two sides faced off in the Premier League back on January 1, when they also lost Harry Kane, Mousa Dembele, and Tanguy Ndombele to injury.

Jose Mourinho will be hoping to come out of this most recent match far better, as Norwich City and a home tie lay waiting in the fifth round.

I believe that Spurs will win the match comfortably 3-0 on the day, with goals from Lo Celso, Heung Min Son, and Tanguy Ndombele.
