Opinion: The dream combined Spurs and Man City XI – Kane and Haaland duo

Tottenham Hotspur take on Manchester City in a matter of hours, so we wanted to take a look at what a combined XI between the two big six clubs would look like.

With all of his errors of late, Hugo Lloris unfortunately did not stand a chance in the head-to-head against Ederson, who takes the spot between the sticks.

In the centre of defence, we have gone for one player from each team in Ruben Dias and Cristian Romero, who would actually complement each other very well.

At full-back, we have gone attacking, with Joao Cancelo at right-back and Ivan Perisic at left-back, which should make for plenty of assists in the final third.

In the centre of midfield, we have gone for Rodri because he can drop into the centre of defence when the full-backs bomb forward. Kevin De Bruyne plays a little further forward, with Harry Kane occupying a free number ten role so he can roam around wherever.

On the wings, Phil Foden and Dejan Kulusevski are there to beat their men and create chances for Erling Haaland in the middle. Plenty of firepower in this XI!
