Opinion: The next five Spurs academy starlets who should make debuts after Fagan-Walcott

Malachi Fagan-Walcott made his debut for Tottenham in the Champions League earlier this month, which begs the question: which academy starlets will be the next to follow in his footsteps?

Dennis Cirkin –

Mourinho appears to like this young left-back, who is unfortunately injured at the moment. However, Cirkin has appeared on the bench for the Special One already and appears to have been earmarked as one of the leading contenders for a breakthrough in the future.

Kion Etete –

It was never going to be easy filling Troy Parrott’s shoes in the youth team this year after the Irishman made the step up to train with the first-team. However, Kion Etete has been on fire all season and offers something different with his physicality and height.

J’Neil Bennett –

Famous for becoming the first player to ever score a goal in the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Bennett looks to be an exciting prospect with electric pace and trickery on the wing.

Harvey White –

Seemed to be a favourite among Pochettino during the last pre-season tour, Harvey White has continued to impress in the youth ranks this season. A cool and collected central midfielder, it would be easy to liken him to Oliver Skipp and Harry Winks, although White has a bit more of an eye for goal in his game.

Brooklyn Lyons-Foster –

Another talented young central defender within the academy system, Lyons-Foster has looked like a real prospect for a couple of seasons now and was taken on the pre-season tour at the start of the campaign. He also has experience playing at right-back, left-back, and central defence.
