Opinion: The Tottenham XI we want to see start against Crystal Palace

While we do not expect to see Jose Mourinho making many changes ahead of the final game of the season, there are a few players we would like to see get a run-out.

This is far from a predicted line-up, but we would love to see this XI start on Sunday:

Hugo Lloris remains between the sticks and his recent form speaks for itself as the Frenchman has been one of Tottenham’s best post lockdown performers.

Toby Alderweireld is joined in defence by Eric Dier who returns from suspension. At left-back, Ryan Sessegnon is given a much-needed confidence boost with a rare start. At right-back, Serge Aurier has shown loyalty to Spurs of late and we want to see that reciprocated.

Oliver Skipp comes into midfield to replace Harry Winks, partnered alongside the tenacious Giovani Lo Celso who returns to his pivot position.

Dele Alli is also back in the line-up, given a free role behind the striker where he performs his best football.

Harry Kane and Heung-min Son start once more to continue their fine form, while Lucas Moura is given a much-needed rest and Steven Bergwijn a rare start of late.
