Opinion: The ultimate combined Tottenham and Wolves XI

Tottenham Hotspur take on Wolves in the Premier League this weekend, two teams who are competing to play in the Champions League next season.

Spurs are currently sixth in the league with 40 points, while Wolves are eighth and just one point behind the Lilywhites.

We have therefore decided to pick a combined XI ahead of the clash on Sunday:

In goal, we have given the experience of Hugo Lloris the nod over Patricio on this occasion.

We have gone for a back three, mainly to fit in all the attacking talent, naming Davinson Sanchez, Japhet Tanganga, and Conor Coady as a mixture of pace and natural defensive talent.

Tanguy Ndombele sits in as a box-to-box midfield option, although can alternate with Ruben Neves in this position, with Giovani Lo Celso making up the third central midfielder.

Beyond them, we have Diogo Jota, Adama Traore, Heung-min Son, and Harry Kane, a mixture of blistering pace and deadly finishing that is sure to cause trouble.
