Opinion: The ultimate Tottenham five-a-side team and bench

Tottenham Hotspur have a number of talented players when it comes to 11 vs 11 in the Premier League, but how would the squad stand up on a five-a-side pitch?

We have picked our ultimate Spurs five-a-side team, along with a bench:

Paulo Gazzaniga – A big man to fill a little goal, I think that Gazzaniga would absolutely thrive in a five-a-side scenario.

Davinson Sanchez – Probably the fastest Spurs central defender, but Sanchez can also play a bit with his feet. The Colombian centre half would likely do well on a smaller pitch.

Giovani Lo Celso – If you need someone to pull the strings in midfield, especially in tight areas, the Argentine is head and shoulders above the rest of the Spurs squad.

Dele Alli – This lad has been practising five-a-side flicks and tricks all season in the Premier League, they may finally come good in this team.

Lucas Moura – Brazilian flair and the ability to work his way out of any tight area with the ball still at his feet, Moura is made for five-a-side.

Bench:

Harry Kane – Not ideally suited to the format but the man lives and breathes goals.

Heung-min Son – Better when he has space to run into but would still do well off the bench.

Erik Lamela – I bet the Argentine would love a scrap on a five-a-side pitch.

Moussa Sissoko – This lad would run all day long for the team and arguably has the best stamina amongst the squad.

Japhet Tanganga – More defensive pace and has shown he can play on both sides of the pitch.
