Opinion: Tottenham player ratings from the 3-0 win over Crystal Palace

Tottenham Hotspur recorded yet another Premier League win under Antonio Conte this afternoon, this time putting three past Crystal Palace without reply.

Let’s take a look at how the individual players got on:

Hugo Lloris – 7.5 – Didn’t have a whole lot to do today but made no mistakes either. Happy birthday Hugo!

Emerson Royal – 8.5 – Much better today. His final ball is still a little hit and miss, but the hits are becoming more frequent. Nice assist for Moura and some other great crosses.

Davinson Sanchez – 8 – He was on the wrong side of both Zaha yellow cards and generally had an extremely solid match. Could have capped it off with a goal at the end.

Eric Dier – 8 – Another typically solid day for Dier. Much like Sanchez, he was very commanding with everything he did, albeit without much defending to do in the second 45.

Japhet Tanganga – 8.5 – A fantastic performance today on the left side. Not only was he solid at the back, but he was positive in possession and underlapped so well all game.

Sergio Reguilon – 8.5 – Superb today. He was a constant outlet down the left side and put in some great crosses. Starting to get in more scoring positions throughout the 90 too.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg – 8 – Kept things ticking over very nicely in the centre of midfield, allowing Skipp to push forward more. A very understated but effective performance.

Oliver Skipp – 9 – I thought he was incredible today. He is adding more to his game by the week. Covered so much ground, won it back again and again, and used it effectively. His driving runs and creativity is improving, it’s just the final ball/shot now.

Lucas Moura – 9.5 – A near-perfect performance. Assisted the opening goal on the break. Scored to kill the game off with a great header. Then assisted again. Not only that, but he created so much time and space on the ball for his teammates.

Heung-min Son – 8.5 – Looking more lively each week in his new number 10 role. Got a great goal after Kane went off today and seems to be improving on the ball in those tight pockets.

Harry Kane – 8 – Will be delighted to get his goal – which makes it back to back games for Harry. Could have had more but was rested rather sensibly. You could see his confidence returning out there though.

Substitutes:

Steven Bergwijn – 7 – Got into some nice areas in a number 9 role after coming on.

Bryan Gil – 6 – Didn’t see a whole lot of the ball but great to see him back.

Tanguy Ndombele – N/A
