Tottenham Hotspur finally got back to winning ways this afternoon with a 3-1 victory over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.

Let’s take a look at how the individual players got on:

Fraser Forster – 9 – Made a few very good saves today, including a reaction double save and a penalty stop. Great stuff!

Pedro Porro – 8 – His best game in a Spurs shirt. Looked a constant danger down the right and consistently took people on. A great assist for Tottenham’s opener.

Cristian Romero – 8 – Much calmer today compared to mid-week but some great aggressive defending. Mops up so well in behind for his teammates, as well as higher up the pitch.

Eric Dier – 7 – Strong in the air, kept a good line, and no-nonsense in the tackle. Much better playing out from the back today too.

Clement Lenglet – 7 – Some nice passing out from the back with Ben Davies on the left. Picked out some nice passes when he underlapped and got further up the pitch too.

Ben Davies – 7.5 – For some reason, he looks really good at left-wing-back. He isn’t the fastest but he uses the space well and has very good timing when making those final third runs.

Oliver Skipp – 9 – A shout for Man of the Match. Skipp was everywhere. He put out fires before the flames even had a chance to breathe. His range of passing was also near-perfect today.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg – 7 – Went about his work quietly but efficiently. Added an extra body to attack when possible and pressed well high up the pitch.

Heung-min Son – 7.5 – Much better today. Looks so much more dangerous playing on the shoulder and he took his goal very well. Fingers crossed this can be the start of something.

Harry Kane – 9 – Two goals and a great all-round performance. He played on the right wing at times, while also dropping into the pockets. It reminded me of Rooney towards the end of his career, spreading passes around but also scoring goals.

Richarlison – 9 – His best game in a Spurs shirt. Unlucky to have his first PL goal chalked off, but he went on to win the penalty and assist for Sonny. His all-round game was also very impressive.

Subs:

Dejan Kulusevski – 4 – Had a great chance to score and gave away a silly penalty.

Lucas Moura – N/A

Pape Matar Sarr – N/A
