Tottenham Hotspur, at the very least, end the season on a win and in some style, scoring four past Leicester City away from home this evening.
Hugo Lloris – 6 – Didn’t have a whole lot to do beyond the penalties.
Matt Doherty – 7 – Started the game really well going forward and wasn’t too bad defensively either. Nice to at least see him getting some game time.
Toby Alderweireld – 4 – Dangled his leg to hand Vardy a penalty. Very naive play. Unfortunately, just seems half a yard short of his old self.
Davinson Sanchez – 3 – Looked like a headless chicken all the way through the game which really sums him up.
Sergio Reguilon – 5 – Always ready to get forward but also almost handed Iheanacho a goal by passing it across goal at the back. Again, sums him up.
Harry Winks – 4 – Left a lot to be desired on and off the ball. Lacking confidence and minutes on the pitch this season but hasn’t impressed when coming in.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg – 6 – This lad must be knackered after the season he’s had. Probably explains why he has fallen short recently but a decent performance.
Dele Alli – 6 – Created some nice chances and just seemed a bit more up for it today. That cheeky/nasty streak was back on show, which always gave him his edge.
Steven Bergwijn – 6 – Not in the game too much but needs minutes to get back up to speed, to be fair.
Heung-min Son – 7.5 – Seemed too preoccupied trying to set Kane up at times instead of going on his own. Needs to be more ruthless himself and take people on.
Harry Kane – 9 – Looked very hungry for his golden boot and caught his goal really nicely. Let’s just hope it isn’t the last we see of him. Nice assist for Bale too.
Substitutes:
Gareth Bale – 9.5 – Came on and scored two. Say no more.
Lucas Moura – 7 – Looked very lively after coming on. Should never have been dropped.
Joe Rodon – N/A
