Much has been said about Christian Eriksen over the last few weeks, especially with the transfer window still open for Premier League exits.
Will he stay? Does he care about the club? Does he want to leave on a free? Will we get the best out of him this season?
Eriksen certainly answered a few of those questions today for me. While his game against Aston Villa certainly confirmed that the skill and effort was there from the Great Dane, I did worry about one thing.
Is he just playing for a move?
Today against Man City, it was confirmed to me that he is not. Not only was Eriksen digging in and covering more ground that most Spurs players, but he was also always the first on the scene to argue with the ref over contentious decisions.
This isn’t something that a player who has lost love and passion for a club would do.
Just get him to sign that new deal now Mr Levy!
