Opinion: Who I would choose out of Lo Celso, Coutinho, Dybala, and Fernandes

Tottenham Hotspur may have a busy final 24 hours in the transfer window this season, as they have been linked to a number of different attacking midfielders.

First up, Spurs have reportedly had a bid accepted by Juventus for their forward, Paulo Dybala, with a fee of £64.4m agreed (Sky Sports News). However, Tottenham have yet to agree personal terms with the player.

Sky Sports have also reported that Tottenham are favourites to secure the signing of out of favour Barcelona attacker, Philippe Coutinho. Pochettino is said to have called his old player in order to attempt to convince him to join the cause (Sky Sports).

The Daily Record have added another name to the mix too, as they claim that Spurs have agreed a £55m fee with Real Betis for Giovani Lo Celso.

Finally, Tottenham have reportedly made a €65m bid for Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes, with the Portuguese club turning it down to hold out for €70 (Daily Mail).

Spurs Web Opinion:

So, who would I choose if I could only pick one for Tottenham this season? My answer would have to be Giovani Lo Celso for two key reasons. He is the youngest of the group, and with Tottenham chasing him for so long, it seems as if he has been a big desire of Pochettino’s for some time now.

If I could choose two, I would take Coutinho for the Premier League experience and pure class too.
