There has been a lot of speculation regarding Jose Mourinho’s future over the past few weeks, with some reports suggesting that the Tottenham boss is at risk of losing his job.

However, three consecutive wins over Wolfsberger, Burnley and Fulham have brought some momentum back into Tottenham’s season and has likely relieved any pressure from the Portuguese coach.

Several coaches have been suggested as possible replacements for Mourinho, with RB Leipzig boss Julien Naglesmann being the most heavily linked, and the German boss was said to be open to taking over the Spurs job at the end of the season.

It was claimed that Brendan Rodgers was another coach who had been contacted by Spurs while the club also reportedly have an eye on Ralph Hasenhuttl.

However, Ornstein has now revealed that one person who is not on Tottenham’s radar is Brighton boss Graham Potter, whose stock seems to have fallen owing to the Seagulls’ struggles this season.

The journalist said on the Ornstein & Chapman podcast: “I don’t hear him (Ornstien) in the Tottenham and Arsenal conversations yet.

“But I do hear people within the game talking about him within the FA style set up as a potential future England manager.”
