Ossie Ardiles jokes about his involvement in the Spurs legends game

After multiple delays, Tottenham’s new stadium will be ready to host Premier League and Champions League matches from April. However, before the stadium is approved for these games, the club will have to host two test events in order to be issued a safety certificate.

While the first test event will be a U-18s game against Southampton on March 26th, Tottenham legends will take on Inter Milan legends at the new venue six days later.

The club have confirmed that Robbie Keane, Rafael van der Vaart, Dimitar Berbatov, Allan Nielsen, David Howells, Stephen Carr, Darren Anderton and goalkeeper Erik Thorstvedt, will all take the field for Spurs legends on the 30th of March.

One player who is missing from the list is former Spurs midfielder and manager Osvaldo Ardiles. When asked by a fan on social media if he was training for the legends game, Ossie gave an honest and humorous response.
