Former Tottenham Hotspur player and manager Ossie Ardiles singled out two players for praise after the 3-1 victory against Leicester City.
It was another spirited performance from Mauricio Pochettino’s side to keep hold of their title aspirations on what could have been a disastrous afternoon if referee Michael Oliver had got his way.
Although they had to ride their luck against the Foxes at times, it still means a fourth Premier League win on the bounce, despite being without Harry Kane and Dele Alli, to keep them well and truly in the race for the title.
A draw or loss would have been a catastrophic outcome, however Spurs refuse to lie down and are five points behind Liverpool and Manchester City (with City having played a match more).
Ardiles was full of praise for Hugo Lloris after the Spurs skipper produced a string of impressive saves, including the penalty stop from Jamie Vardy.
Harry Winks was also the subject of attention from the Argentine, with the academy product continuing to make the central midfield position his own.
2) Dont like to single out particulars players but specially @HugoLlorisN1 and @HarryWinks were superb today. Harry becoming an outstanding player. Not only when He is on the ball but today He recovered probably more balls than anybody else. COYS COYS COYS
