Some Tottenham fans on social media are convinced that the club have found a gem in Emerson Royal and have backed Antonio Conte to turn him into a top wing-back.
While Emerson had a tricky start to life at Tottenham following his move from Barcelona in the summer, he has started showing his quality over the last few weeks.
The 22-year-old has demonstrated his proficiency in one vs one situations, both defensively and offensively.
The Brazilian has been used as a right-wing-back by Antonio Conte in the Italian’s first two games in charge and he has looked a perfect fit for the role.
Emerson was one of Tottenham’s best players in their 0-0 draw at Goodison Park yesterday as he dealt impressively with Demarai Gray and Lucas Digne down the Everton left while also providing a constant outlet down the right for Spurs going forward.
On the back of his performance against the Toffees, some Spurs fans are convinced that the former Real Betis man is the real deal.

Spurs Web Opinion
A lot of fans were quick to write Emerson off after his first two or three games for Spurs. However, he is now showing signs of settling well into the Premier League and seems to be getting better with every game he plays.
