Tottenham Hotspur spurned a clean sheet yet again today as they conceded late against Southampton in the FA Cup fourth round at St Mary’s.
Spurs had taken the lead in the second half through Son Heung Min, at which point they looked to shut up shop and defend their way to victory in true Mourinho fashion.
However, a late goal from Boufal, with some sloppy Spurs defending, saw the home side claw their way back into the tie.
There will now be a replay at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium between the two sides and although they will have the home advantage, the extra match is not idea for Spurs.
Tottenham are still in the Champions League this season, paired up with the heavy Premier League congestion, Mourinho would have been hoping to get the job done today.
Some Spurs fans took to Twitter to react to the late disappointment against the Saints.
